WCWAUT23313 Super Simple Sensory Breaks (2 Part Webinar)

WCWAUT23313 Super Simple Sensory Breaks (2 Part Webinar)

This is event is being run in collaboration with West Cork, Cork, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Limerick Education Support Centres

Dates: Tuesday 7th & 21st November

This in depth two part webinar looks in great detail at the different sensory pathways people seek to access in order to self regulate.

Offering a sensory break that does not fit the unique needs of a person is pointless and it does not help or support the child in any way.

This two part webinar teaches us about how to assess the needs of the individual and how to structure sensory breaks that will reduce stress and agitation in a child.

Part 1 - Exploring the different sensory pathways, and sensory barriers to learning

Part 2 – Looking at functional sensory breaks & pupil-centered movement plans

7pm to 8pm with complimentary facilitated Q&A at 8pm
