Strategies for overcoming difficulties pupils with autism might encounter in primary school.

Many pupils with autism have difficulties with Theory of Mind, Central Coherence and Executive Functioning. This has an impact on everyday school life. During this seminar we will discuss the difficulties and explore strategies to overcome them to make school a safe, predictable and enjoyable place for the pupils. Further we will discuss the importance of building Self-esteem and independency.
