Developing Physical Literacy through Knowledge and Understanding.
Seminar 5 focuses on developing the physically literate pupil through the lens of knowledge and understanding. Two teachers are welcome to attend this seminar. Participants will explore as variety of practical strategies to develop pupils' knowledge and understanding that can be easily implemented in the PE lesson, leading to improved participation in the PE lesson adn in physical activity within and outside the school. Developing knowledge and understanding is a key element of every child's physical literacy development.
Two teachers are invited to attend this practical session.
The DES will provide substitute cover where required.
