This course will explore issues relating to SESE in the local environment through fieldtrips, workshops, lectures and tours in the context of the History/Geography/Science strands.
It explores opportunities for active learning in the classroom making SESE real and relative to children.
A willingness to travel is required as this course will include field trips to potential sites for class visits.
Own/shared transport required.
Also please bring footwear for walking and a raincoat in case of inclement weather on the days when the field trips will take place.

Boat trip from Glengarriff to visit and explore the unique micro climate/habitat of Garnish Island.
